Located on Gadigal Land, we are a proudly independent girls' school without religious affiliation, for Prep to Year 12 students. Since its introduction to Ascham by Margaret Bailey in 1922, The Dalton Plan has set us apart as a unique and widely-admired approach to girls’ education.
Ascham celebrated its 130th Anniversary with a special Founder’s Day Assembly in May, inviting many special guests who have helped shape Ascham School over the decades. Saturday 20 August 2016 saw the culmination of the School’s 130th birthday celebrations, as well as the official opening of Ascham’s new Centre for the Sciences.
Governance. Like many independent schools, Ascham is a not-for-profit company limited by the guarantee of its members.
