Sugawara has lent his voice to numerous anime roles, such as Spirited Away's Kamaji, Tales from Earthsea's Ged, and most recently, Wolf Children's Nirasaki. Sugawara also voiced the narrator in Square Enix's Dissidia: Final Fantasy video game.
