10 de mar. de 2017 · Jesus asked her for a drink of water. The woman from Samaria asked Jesus why He would ask her for water! She said Jesus was a Jew and she was a Samaritan. Jews and Samaritans did not have anything to do with each other! The woman told Jesus He must be a prophet! Jesus told her that the way of worship was changing.
John 4:4-8. A Samaritan woman came to the well and Jesus talked to her. John 4:9-10. Jesus knew that she had done a lot of bad things. Jesus wants a relationship with everyone, no matter what! Memory Verse: Romans 3:22 We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
Jesus meets this Samaritan woman at Jacob’s Well after a morning’s journey and disregards social custom by asking her for a drink. This boundary crossing between a Jew and a Samaritan sparks a conversation about their theological differences. Like all Samaritans, she traces her ancestry back to Jacob.
