Local and International legend, Eric Porter, joins us on the Gnar Stool this week to dive into his diverse mountain bike career. From humble beginnings with his 10-speed road bike (didn’t last long on that one) in Kentucky to his collegiate bike race career all the way to current day where he’s crushing the Youtube game with creative videos alongside his family.
To Eric Porter, born 8 April 1928, a future as an actor was far from being all mapped out, for son of a bus conductor, his parents wanted him to qualify as an electrical engineer. Therefore, he went to Wimbledon Technical College at the age of 15 and a year later, started work for the Marconi Telegraph and Wireless Company, soldering joints.
