Her notable songs included ‘Baby Love’ and ‘Stop! In the Name of Love’ (both with the Supremes) as well as ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ and ‘Upside Down.’
Born March 26, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Working within groups early on in her musical career, she is equally known as an artist in her own right, and has released music in many genres; R&B, soul, disco, and jazz. Initial success came as lead singer of The Supremes . Sister to Motown songwriter Arthur Ross.
