Julia Base contains a range of functions and macros appropriate for performing scientific and numerical computing, but is also as broad as those of many general purpose programming languages. If you installed Julia previously with a method that is not based on Juliaup and want to switch your system to an installation that is based on Juliaup, we recommend that you uninstall all previous Julia versions, ensure that you remove anything Julia related from your PATH variable and then install Julia with one of the methods described below.

I use Julia in my health research to address and rapidly identify health disparities, deliver insight, and to perhaps assist in decisions to protect lives. I believe that Julia is the tool to do this and I look forward to another 10 years.
