Mercersburg won the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association girls’ basketball state championship in 2016, setting a school record for wins in a season (19). Off-season work includes time at summer camp; several players have attended the nationally recognized Point Guard College in the last few years.

14 de ago. de 2023 · Later, the piano was moved to the New York Academy of Art. The piano remained there until 1999, when an employee of New York Art Academy sold it to an antique auction house. Mansoor Shaool bought the piano in 2003, and the Shaool family gifted it to Mercersburg in 2018. The piano has been appraised at $5 million. Bidding will open at $1 million.
Playing Fields. With more than 300 acres of property, the Academy has plenty of space for playing fields and other outdoor facilities. The athletic department maintains 10 grass fields for baseball, field hockey, football, boys’ and girls’ lacrosse, boys’ and girls’ soccer, and softball, as well as Regents' Field, a synthetic-turf surface for field hockey and lacrosse.
Since Mercersburg Academy opened its doors to women in 1969, our female students have left their marks on the campus, on each other, and on the world beyond Mercersburg’s sycamores. We are judges, doctors, artists, teachers, CEOs, and veterans, and the list goes on. We are changemakers, and our strength is amplified when we come together.
At Mercersburg Girls’ Lacrosse Camp, Kristin Ahlgren and her staff of college players will help you develop your skills and prepare for your next level. Kristin is the varsity head coach at Mercersburg Academy and a current club coach for Renegades LC, and has coached at many lacrosse camps across the country.
