Eragon. Eragon är den första delen i fantasykvadrologin Arvtagaren, skriven av Christopher Paolini. Han började skriva boken vid 15 års ålder, men fick den publicerad när han var 17 genom sina föräldrars förlag år 2001. Den fick dock först spridning när bokförlaget Random House köpte rättigheterna och publicerade boken 2003.

For comparison, Rick Riordan’s “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” Disney+ series was first announced in May 2020 and will release sometime in 2024. With the current Hollywood strike ongoing, it is doubtful the series would arrive on Disney+ prior to 2025.
