Biography . Arthur Blundell Sandys Tumbrell Hill was baptised on the 8th October, 1788 in Hanover Square, London, England. He was the elder son of Sir Arthur Hill, 2nd Marquess of Downshire, and Mary Sandys, daughter of Col. the Hon. Martin Sandys.. Sir Arthur Hill married (25 October 1811) Maria Windsor, Mary Sandys, eldest daughter of Other Hickman Windsor, the 5th earl of Plymouth.
Arthur Hill, 6th Marquess of Downshire. Arthur Wills John Wellington Trumbull Blundell Hill, 6th Marquess of Downshire (2 July 1871, London – 29 May 1918) was an Irish peer, styled Earl of Hillsborough until 31 March 1874. [1] He lived chiefly at the family seat, Easthampstead Park, within 5,000 acres in Berkshire.
