Fontbonne University is a private Catholic university in Clayton, Missouri. Fontbonne University, established in 1923 as Fontbonne College, initially served as a women's college. Fontbonne College became co-educational in the 1970s.
With a population of nearly 1,400 students, Fontbonne is a small university with a big heart—and a national reputation. Inspired by our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, we’ve built our curriculum on a commitment to serving communities in need.
