Overview. A poignant overview of how short life can be, this interesting drama from Czech director Vojetch Jasny is divided into four separate segments. In the first skit, a young child's impressions are observed as his newborn baby sister becomes a part of the family.
Desire is a 1958 anthology film about the circle of life, set in a rural village. The four episodes represent the four seasons, kicking off with blooming spring and ending in snowy winter. The first protagonist is a young boy, the next a teenage girl, then a middle-aged woman and finally an old woman.
