13 de jun. de 2011 · In 1830 four members of the Dominicans started St. Mary’s Academy, one of the first Catholic schools in Ohio. This Academy offered education to pioneer children of Catholics and non-Catholics.

6 de feb. de 2024 · Columbus St. Mary School in the German Village area dedicated its new campus on Thursday, Feb. 1, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessing from Bishop Earl Fernandes. The $18 million redevelopment of the school campus began in October 2022 to help accommodate a 40 percent increase in enrollment since 2018.

The school operated in Somerset until 1866 when a devastating fire destroyed the buildings.
