Bitter Sweet is the second album by the American musician Kim Richey, released in 1997. The album peaked at No. 53 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Richey supported Bitter Sweet by playing shows with Junior Brown, Robert Earl Keen, and Wilco, among others.

Kimberly Richey (born December 1, 1956) is an American singer and songwriter. Early life. Richey was born in Zanesville, Ohio, on December 1, 1956. Career. Richey entered music in the 1990s, and secured her first recording contract with Mercury Nashville at the age of 37.
Her ultra-tight touring band, which included bassist Andrew Mazzone, guitarists Angelo Petraglia and Kenny Vaughn, and drummer Billy Beard, would perform their respective roles on her next album, where they would be joined by artists like Newgrass mandolinist Sam Bush and Joy Lynn White and Mandy Barnett on background vocals.

27 de abr. de 2024 · Kim tells me Scottish artist Carla J Easton, a songwriter she met at the BANF workshops in Canada, is opening some Northern shows for her. She is going to play with a guitarist Paul Kelly. Luke Brighty is playing some shows with Kim as well.
