Nico is a compilation album by American rock band Blind Melon, released in 1996 by Capitol Records. The album was released after lead singer Shannon Hoon 's cocaine overdose that resulted in his death in 1995.
Nico. The band's third album would come out after the tragic loss of frontman, Shannon Hoon. Titled after Shannon's newborn daughter, Nico Blue, the album is compiled of outtakes and demos that the remaining members would later polish up in the studio.
