The Netherlands Film Academy (Dutch: Nederlandse Filmacademie) (NFA) was founded in 1958. The academy is the only recognised institute in the Netherlands that offers training to prepare for the work in the various crew disciplines.

De Dutch Filmers Academy leidt studenten op tot ondernemende allround filmprofessionals. Wij bieden erkende mbo- en hbo-opleidingen waarbinnen ondernemerschap de leidraad is in het curriculum.
De Filmacademie is een faculteit van de Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (AHK). De Academie biedt een vierjarige hbo-opleiding, waarin studenten worden opgeleid op alle sleutelfuncties van het filmvak (zie onder). Studenten werken gedurende de hele opleiding in crews en worden begeleid door ervaren filmmakers.
