  1. Lieutenant-Colonel Richard George Lumley, 9th Earl of Scarbrough (7 May 1813 – 5 December 1884) was an Anglo-Irish peer and soldier. [1] Biography. He was born at Tickhill Castle, the son and heir of Frederick Lumley-Saville (1788–1837), the only son of the fifth son of the fourth Earl of Scarbrough.
