Anthony Maitland Steel (21 May 1920 – 21 March 2001) was a British actor and singer who appeared in British war films of the 1950s such as The Wooden Horse (1950) and Where No Vultures Fly (1951). He was also known for his tumultuous marriage to Anita Ekberg.

Anthony Steel (1920-2001) was a popular matinée idol in Britain in the 1950s, starring in films like The Master of Ballantrae and The Story of O. He married actress Anita Ekberg in 1956, but their relationship ended in divorce and he later appeared in some European and TV roles.
