Description of research and teaching. I teach and research at the intersection of these areas: social theory, cultural socology, historical sociology and globalization studies. My aim is to bring theoretical considerations to history and historical considerations to theory.
Henry David Inglis, también conocido por el pseudónimo Derwent Conway (Edimburgo, 1795-Londres, 20 de marzo de 1835) fue un escritor, periodista, viajero e hispanófilo escocés.
David Robert Inglis is a contemporary sociologist and academic. Education and career. Inglis earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Cambridge and then went on to complete his Master's and PhD in sociology at the University of York. He has been a sociology professor at the University of Helsinki since 2017.
Dr Inglis research interests lie in microfabrication for medicine and biology. He is well known for work on deterministic lateral displacement separations, and has expertise in a wide range of particle separation techniques, electro-hydrodynamics, and photonics.
