- About Wellington
Wellington College is a boys' school in the capital city of New Zealand, with a motto of "Receive the light and pass it on". It offers a range of academic and co-curricular opportunities, and celebrates its connection to the past and the present.
Wellington College is one of the UK’s — and indeed the world’s — great coeducational boarding and day schools. The College is set in 400 acres of beautiful parkland and is home to a blend of breathtaking original architecture and modern state-of-the-art facilities to provide the best possible educational environment for our pupils.
Wellington College specialises in preparing students for New Zealand and global university entrance. The New Zealand University Entrance Qualification is internationally recognised. We also offer other New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) standards, and Cambridge Math and University Math through our university connection.
The College is situated in Crowthorne about 35 miles to the South West of London and can be reached by road from either the M3 or M4. Crowthorne railway station enjoys direct rail links to Reading and Guildford, and our closest airports are Heathrow (around 30 minutes’ drive) and Gatwick (just over an hour).
