Marianne Deborah Williamson (born July 8, 1952) is an American author, speaker, and perennial political candidate. She began her professional career as spiritual leader of the Church of Today, a Unity Church in Warren, Michigan.
Ann M. Williams (born 1968) is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives who has represented the 11th District since 2011. The district includes the Chicago neighborhoods of West Lakeview, Roscoe Village and North Center, as well as parts of Lincoln Park and Lincoln Square.
The former chair of the Illinois Green Caucus, Ann is a leader on issues related to the environment and is working to address the climate crisis. Ann served as chief House sponsor of the Clean Energy Jobs Act, which was integral to the passage of the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act in September 2021.
