Charlie Farquharson. Harron is known for the character Charlie Farquharson / ˈfɑːrkəsən /, a personality he first portrayed in 1952 on the CBC series The Big Revue. For the following half-century-plus, Harron performed the character regularly on stage and on Canadian radio and television.
