Jean-Baptiste Frédéric Isidor "Toots" Thielemans ( Bruselas, 29 de abril de 1922- Ib., 22 de agosto de 2016 1 ) fue un guitarrista, armonicista y compositor belga de jazz . Carrera. Toots actuando en La Brasserie en 1975. Thielemans comenzó su carrera como guitarrista.
Jean-Baptiste Frédéric Isidor, Baron Thielemans (29 April 1922 – 22 August 2016), known professionally as Toots Thielemans ([tuts tiləmans]), was a Belgian jazz musician. He was mostly known for playing the chromatic harmonica, as well as his guitar and whistling skills, and composing.

Talking to Les Tomkins in 1978. Well, as a starting point — how did you come by the nickname Toots? It happened way back in Belgium, in 1946. We had a little amateur band, called Le Jazz Hot, and I was the up-and-coming fellow playing the guitar in Belgium.
