Azai Nagamasa (浅井 長政, 1545 – 26 September 1573) was a Japanese daimyō of the Sengoku period known as the brother-in-law and enemy of Oda Nobunaga.

Nagamasa Azai (浅井 長政, Azai Nagamasa) is the last head of the Azai clan, Oichi's husband, and acclaimed father of the Three Azai Sisters. He is best known in fiction for betraying the Oda by allying with the Asakura's revolt against Nobunaga.

3 de dic. de 2020 · Azai Nagamasa was a samurai leader who rebelled against the Rokkaku clan and allied with Oda Nobunaga in the Warring States period. He died in the siege of Odani Castle, where he sent his family out to Nobunaga's protection.
Azai Nagamasa – son of Hisamasa, came into conflict with Oda Nobunaga and opposed him, entering an alliance with the Asakura clan and the monks of Mt. Hiei; he was defeated and forced to suicide by Nobunaga in 1573. He was married to Nobunaga's sister Oichi.
