Marie Louise Mignot (February 12, 1712 – August 10, 1790) was a French literary figure. She was the daughter of Voltaire's sister, Catherine Arouet (1686–1726) and her husband Pierre-François Mignot (d. 1737).
Niece of Voltaire (q.v.), born Marie Louise Mignot, married Nicolas Denis in 1737 and therefore usually referred to as 'Madame Denis'. Lived with Voltaire after her husband'd death (1744).

21 de nov. de 2016 · In spite of his attachment to the Marquise of Châtelet, in 1744 Voltaire had formed a new romantic relationship — with his niece, Marie Louise Mignot. There is much debate as to the nature of their association, and in a letter from 1747/8 he wrote:
To crown all I am staying here until the 20th. I am far. from well, and am taking the waters of Tancourt, near Cirey. am told that they will do me good, but only your letters will do. that. I implore you to let me know how you are and what is the. affair you mentioned so mysteriously. Console me and love me.
26 de mar. de 2015 · NYPL also holds a letter written by Voltaire to his niece Marie-Louise Mignot, wherein he describes his relationship with Madame du Châtelet and her husband the Marquis. The du Châtelets’ marriage was motivated by social and business concerns: the merging of two powerful families.
