The group added two more singers, Bobby Lee Fears and Dutch Robinson, and became the house band for the New York -based Compass Records. In 1967, they added vocalist Helena Ferguson Kilpatrick. The group disbanded again in 1970.

Bobby Lee Fears. B obby Lee Fears was one of the triumvirate of Georgia based writer / singers which included the wonderful Lee Moses and excellent Hermon Hitson to be involved with hustling producer Johnny Brantley in the 60s. But Fears is considerably less celebrated than the other two.

Bobby Lee Fears was one of the lead singers of the Ohio Players in the mid 60's version of the band. You can hear him singing the gruff lead vocals on their Compass sides when they were the label's house band.
