WEA Duitsland pikte haar op en bracht in 1995 deze ‘Naked and True’ uit. Producer Ralf Droesemeyer was geïnspireerd door de jazzfunk uit de UK, lijfde P-funk legendes Bootsy Collins, Fred Wesley en Bernie Worrell in, en Randy keerde in de studio in Hannover terug naar de sound van ‘Street Life’.
Naked And True (1995) brought Crawford back to her roots: it included George Benson's "Give Me the Night", and confirmed her soul heritage by featuring Funkadelic members Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell and the Fred Wesley Horns.
