Margie Hines (1909-1985) was an actress and a voice artist for Max Fleischer cartoons. She voiced Betty Boop and Olive Oyl, Popeye's girlfriend, in many classic shorts.
Margie Hines was the first of six women that Max Fleischer hired to give Betty Boop a voice. She also was the last to voice Betty, on the final cartoon of the series - Rhythm On The Reservation. Hines made her big break in show business by winning a "Boop-Oop-A-Doop" contest held by Fleischer.
