Rajesh Khanna (born Jatin Khanna; 29 December 1942 – 18 July 2012) was an Indian actor, politician and film producer who is known for his work in Hindi cinema. During his career, he appeared in more than 180 films. [1] . He starred in 15 consecutive solo hit films from 1969 to 1971.
Rajesh Khanna was the most popular actor in India for 25 years, with over 100 blockbuster films and 48 platinum jubilee hits. He was born in 1942, entered films in 1965, and became the first superstar of Hindi cinema with Aradhana in 1969.
