Michael David Edwards (born 5 December 1963), better known as Eddie the Eagle, is an English ski jumper and Olympian who in 1988 became the first competitor to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski jumping, finishing last in the Normal Hill and Large Hill events.

Michael Edwards (né le 5 décembre 1963 à Cheltenham), plus connu sous le nom d'Eddie « l'aigle » (en anglais Eddie « The Eagle »), est un skieur anglais qui, aux Jeux olympiques d'hiver de 1988 à Calgary, devint le premier sauteur à ski représentant de la fédération olympique britannique.
Eddie Edwards fue el primer competidor que representó a Gran Bretaña en salto de esquí en unos Juegos Olímpicos. Quedó último en las pruebas de 70 y 90 metros en los Juegos de Invierno de Calgary 1988, pero se hizo famoso.
