Ervin Szabó (born as Samuel Armin Schlesinger; 23 August 1877 – 29 September 1918) [1] was a Hungarian social scientist, librarian and anarcho-syndicalist revolutionary.

Szabó Ervin, születési nevén Schlesinger Sámuel Ármin (Szlanica, Árva vármegye, 1877. augusztus 23. – Budapest, 1918. szeptember 30.) társadalomtudós, könyvtáros, könyvtárigazgató, jogász, anarchoszindikalista forradalmár, a forradalmi szocialisták szellemi vezetője.

Author. (1877–1918), librarian and socialist theoretician. Ervin Szabó was born in northern Hungary in a region that is now part of Slovakia. He changed his name from Samuel Armin Schlesinger and converted to Calvinism while still in his teens.
