Azzedine Alaïa (French: [azedin alaja]; Arabic: عز الدين عليّة, romanized: ʿIzz ad-Dīn ʿAlayya, pronounced [ʕizz adˈdiːn ʕaˈlajja]; 26 February 1935 – 18 November 2017) was a Tunisian couturier and shoe designer, particularly successful beginning in the 1980s.

Azzedine Alaïa ( arabe : عز الدين عليّة ), né le 26 février 1935 N 1 à Tunis N 2 et mort le 18 novembre 2017 à Paris 10e, est un styliste et grand couturier franco - tunisien N 3. Durant sa jeunesse, il suit des études de sculpture mais décide de changer de voie, en abordant la couture. Il se rend à Paris à la fin des années 1950.
