The Tokyo Tower of Babel (Japanese: 東京バベルタワー) is a visionary 10 km hyper tall building that was proposed to be built in Tokyo in 1992. Although it is unlikely to ever be built in the future. If it actually was built, it would be the tallest building on Earth surpassing Mount Everest by 1,152 metres.
The Grollo Tower would have been the world's tallest building at the time at 560 m (1837 ft) tall, down from the originally planned 678 m (2,224 ft) height, and still would have been the tallest building in the southern hemisphere.
