Charles Thomas Close, conocido como Chuck Close, (Monroe, Washington; 5 de julio de 1940-Oceanside, 20 de agosto de 2021) [1] fue un pintor fotorrealista y fotógrafo estadounidense.
Chuck Close, nacido Charles Thomas Close, es un artista estadounidense que creó su obra dentro del llamado hiperrealismo (o quizás habría que denominarlo fotorrealismo, al basar su arte en la fotografía). Como pintor trabaja en grandes formatos, casi exclusivamente creando retratos.
