26 de oct. de 2019 · “The Terror of War”, also known as the “Napalm Girl”, is a Pulitzer Prize winning photograph taken by photojournalist Nick Ut, a Vietnamese American photographer who was working for the Associated Press at that time. After his brother was killed in 1965 at the age of 27, Nick joined AP in 1966.
Biografía. Nació en Long An, Vietnam, Ut comenzó a tomar fotografías para la Associated Press cuando contaba 14 años, justo después de que su hermano mayor, Huynh Thanh My, otro fotógrafo de AP, fuese asesinado en Vietnam. El propio Ut fue herido tres veces en la guerra.

He won both the 1973 Pulitzer Prize for Spot News Photography and the 1973 World Press Photo of the Year for his 1972 photograph The Terror of War, depicting children running away from a napalm bombing attack during the Vietnam War.
