There are a number of bosses throughout Rogue Legacy, one for each region of the map, each behind an imposing set of doors - and one final boss (with two stages) that is located behind the large golden door that is at the entrance to the castle.

At least you should, unless there's really an issue with the keyboard... The *real* last boss fight is much less frantic, too. He'll telegraph his attacks and most are pretty easy to dodge, plus you get multiple pieces of chicken once you beat Johannes.

I just beat the last boss at level 95, took some attempts to learn the attack patterns. IMO light phase is more difficult than dark phase, so once you can get him to 3/4 health consistently you're half done the fight. The trickiest dark phase attack is when he summons the jellyfish, everything else has a simple way to avoid.
