Kildare tries to find one solution for two women, one who loses her baby ( Barbara Baxley) and one who doesn't want her newborn ( Collin Wilcox ). Kildare is forced to compete with a nun ( Glynis Johns) in a battle between medicine and religion in order to save a young housewife ( Pat Crowley ).
