Stonyhurst is very much a 7-day-a-week boarding school with a busy weekend activities programme: this includes visits to the cinema, trips to the theatre or sports events and cultural excursions to places such as York or Manchester. Everyone attends Mass in St Peter’s Church on Sunday morning.
Stonyhurst offers a range of boarding options from Year 3 (age 7/8) at our St Mary's Hall Prep School, right through to Sixth Form boarding at Stonyhurst College.
Stonyhurst College is a co-educational Catholic private school, adhering to the Jesuit tradition, on the Stonyhurst Estate, Lancashire, England. It occupies a Grade I listed building. The school has been fully co-educational since 1999.
