Austin Robert Butler (born August 17, 1991) is an American actor and singer known for his role as James Garrett on the Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101 as well as portraying the title character Elvis Presley in the film Elvis.

Butler began his career on television, first in roles on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, most notably on Zoey 101 (2007–2008), and later on teen dramas, including recurring parts on The CW's Life Unexpected (2010–2011) and Switched at Birth (2011–2012).
James Garrett (Austin Butler) one of the main characters featured in Season 4 of the Nickelodeon TV series, Zoey 101. He is the roommate of Logan Reese and Michael Barret. His other friends are Zoey Brooks, Quinn Pensky, Vince Blake, Dustin Brooks and Lola Martinez.
