Eridan Ampora, also known by his Trollian handle “caligulasAquarium”, is one of the sea dwelling Alternian trolls. His associated zodiac sign is Aquarius (♒), and his horns are wavy which represent his associated symbol. His ancestor is Orphaner Dualscar, who he named his Flarp character after.
Feferi is depicted on the "III: The Empress" card in the Homestuck tarot card deck. She can also be seen with most of the pre-act six cast on the "Five of Wands" card. Feferi wasn't actually against killing/eating sea creatures if it was done humanely.
Gamzee Makara's lusus is a giant sea creature with a goat's upper half and a piscine tail, resembling the mythological sea goat which is the symbol of the Capricorn constellation, who has come to be colloquially called goatdad.
sea dwellers are fuschia and violet only. violet, while highblood is also technically the lowest of sea dwellers and seadweller lowbloods. conversely we have land higbloods like equius and especially gamzee, whose ancestor is the grand highblood.
The answer is no, not inherently at least. Sea-Dwellers are Violet and Fuchsia bloods only. (Any blood color outside of that being a sea-dweller WOULD be a mutant however.) Fuchsia bloods are the highest blood caste and rule over all of the other trolls.
Natures and physical aspects are also affected, most noticeably in sea dwellers. Lowbloods are more likely to be psychic and have shorter life spans. Highbloods are physically more strong, and have longer life spans. On Alternia, the hemospectrum is the basis of the blood caste system.
There are a number of specific violetbloods that appear or are mentioned in Friendsim, though: The one Polypa assassinated in Vol. 5. The group of 3 that show up in Karako's route in Vol. 14. One in the background in Wanshi's route in Vol. 15.
