Theodore Richard White (March 25, 1931 – October 26, 2020) was an American businessman, songwriter, music manager and producer from Detroit, Michigan. White was the manager and first husband of soul singer Aretha Franklin.

Ted White, who was also Franklin's manager, allegedly beat her and left her with bruises. They had one son, Teddy White Jr., who became a singer-songwriter.
Her third child, Ted White Jr., was born to Franklin and her husband Theodore "Ted" White in February 1964 and is known professionally as Teddy Richards. He provided guitar backing for his mother's band during live concerts. Her youngest son, Kecalf Cunningham, was born in April 1970 and is the child of her road manager Ken Cunningham.
