TwistedWave is a browser-based audio editor. You only need a web browser to access it, and you can use it to record or edit any audio file.
TwistedWave works great as an audio converter. It is able to read and export sound files in many formats, including: wav, aiff, au, snd, sd2, mpg, mp2, mp3, mp4, m4r (iPhone ringtones), m4a (iTunes), m4b (audiobooks), aac, caf, flac, ogg/vorbis, wma, WavPack, Wave64.

TwistedWave is a multichannel editor. i.e. it can edit stereo or 5.1 audio files. But TwistedWave is not a multi-track editor, and you will only have a single track at a time. That being said, it is still possible to mix music and voice together.
Video & Speech. Bring TwistedWave to an extra level by adding support for video, and speech recognition. Speech recognition allows you to synchronize the waveform with a text script. Select a piece of text, and the corresponding audio will be selected in the waveform.
