Previous study on frailty and diabetes based on two prospective cohorts suggested that frailty was the predisposing factor for diabetes and increases its risk of death (11, 18).

Frailty was positively associated with exposure to NO 2 concentrations. Mapping frailty and its associated factors like NO 2 air concentrations can contribute to the design of targeted pro-healthy aging policies.
