Biografie. Roland Suso Richter wurde am 7. Januar 1961 in Marburg geboren, wo er auch aufwuchs und 1980 sein Abitur absolvierte. Danach war er zunächst Praktikant bei Videoproduktionen, schauspielerte am Theater und spielte eine Statistenrolle in Fassbinders "Die Sehnsucht der Veronika Voss" (1982), bevor er selbst als Regisseur tätig wurde.
