He also had stints working for the Chicago Cubs and did national work for FOX and TBS. Chip’s grandfather, Harry Caray called Cardinals games from 1945 until 1969 before leaving for Chicago.

Caray, the grandson and son of legendary announcers Harry Caray and Skip Caray, respectively, has ties to St. Louis through the decades and will know take the same position there that he had with the Braves.

16 de may. de 2024 · Both broadcasters have followed in their family’s footsteps of Jack Buck, the father of Joe Buck, and Harry Caray, Chip Caray’s grandfather. Jack and Harry called Cardinals games together from 1954-1959 and 1961-1969 on KMOX, according to the press release. “Holy cow, this should be fun,” Caray said.
