Theodore Bikel (Viena, 2 de mayo de 1924 - Los Ángeles, California, 21 de julio de 2015) [1] fue un actor austriaco y cantante del repertorio folclórico hebreo.
Theodore Meir Bikel ( / bɪˈkɛl / bih-KEL; May 2, 1924 – July 21, 2015) was an Austrian actor, folk singer, musician, composer, unionist, and political activist.
His memorable supporting roles include a German naval officer in The African Queen (1951), the king of Serbia in Moulin Rouge (1952) and a German submarine officer in The Enemy Below (1957). He was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in The Defiant Ones (1958).
