The website IanVisits (by way of the Pugin Society) brought to my attention a restoration which took place a few years ago at St. Monica's, Hoxton Square -- an Augustinian church designed and executed in the mid 1860's by Edward Welby Pugin, eldest son of A.W.N. Pugin.
11 de mar. de 2007 · St. Paul's Parish Church. Pugin designed the windows in the main body of St Paul's, which were made by the firm of John Hardman (1811-67). The West and East windows are particularly admired, and have recently been restored. The West window features two rows of figures of the saints, and the East windows shows the Tree of Jesse.

W. N. Pugin (1812–52) established himself from 1838 as the architectural impresario of the Catholic revival in the British Isles, and, even more than his buildings, his journalism and publications spread this message. Pugin began his assault of the neo-classical style and the habits of the Georgian building world with his Contrasts (1836).

Steven Olson, pastor of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel, Minnesota, and given in memory of Rev. D. J. Nordling to the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA).
