David Bennent was born in Switzerland in 1966. His father is the German actor Heinz Bennent and his mother is the French dancer Diane Mansart. His sister Anne Bennent is also an actress. Bennent is most known for his role in The Tin Drum (as Oskar) when he was 11 years old, and Legend (as Honeythorn Gump) when he was 19 years old.
