The Five College Meal Exchange Program allows students who are enrolled in a course at Hampshire College during a meal period to enjoy a meal in the Hampshire Dining Commons at no additional charge. To apply, please provide enrollment confirmation, including days and times for the Hampshire course, to Nancy Bristol at nabDC@hampshire.edu.

Eating on Campus For the academic year 2024-25, dining services will offer in-person cafeteria-style dining in the Dining Commons, coffee shop service at the Kern Kafé, and á la carte dining at the Bridge Café. Sourcing is done as locally as possible, with many ingredients coming from the College's own farm. Student-centered meals are made fresh with seasonal ingredients and a global influence.

Driven to merge his passions — technology and social impact — Division II student Rupert Tawiah-Quashie built a tool to help officiate basketball games for deaf players.

  7. Hampshire College uses an open source learning management system (LMS) called Moodle for course websites. Hampshire is a member of the Collaborative Liberal Arts Moodle Project (CLAMP).
