Op dit album vind je een ratjetoe aan stijlen terug, maar niets dat echt hoort bij The Velvet Underground.

The resulting record, Squeeze, is not a bad album, it’s a surprisingly unremarkable album in many ways, but it’s not actually bad. What it is not, is a Velvet Underground album.

I’m a huge velvet underground fan and I’m happy to have it in my collection. I recommend buying a copy Now while it’s still relatively inexpensive if you’re a completist. I do not recommend the actual music, or really consider it a velvet underground record as none of the original members are part of it. It’s more of a curiosity
5 de ago. de 2023 · The Velvet Underground was pretty much already over before Squeeze released, but that album was the final nail in the coffin. Horrid reviews and horrid sales, there were almost no expectations for this album and yet it still failed to meet them. Such a lame ass record that didn't really need to be released under the name of such a legendary band.
