Albert Salmi (March 11, 1928 – April 22, 1990) was an American actor of stage, film, and television. Best known for his work as a character actor, he appeared in over 150 film and television productions.

I've seen it reported that Roberta was terminally ill, and that during their separation Albert had gone to live in Idaho. On April 23, 1990, Albert Salmi drove back to the house he had once shared with his wife.
